You are required to have written approval from the Architecture Review Committee (ARC) for any change of structural or aesthetic change to your property (even if you are using the same color). This includes changing the color of shutters, replacing the roof, or adding a storage building. The following information is needed:
- Specifically what you are planning to do with your property
- Specific materials you are planning to use
- Exact colors (paper color charts are required – these are free from places you purchase paint)
- Drawings with exact dimensions (these drawings do not have to be professional unless requested by the Board)
- Property owner name, address and telephone number
- Contractor/person doing work
- Expected completion date
The city of Madison requires Board approval (letter) prior to issuing a permit. A permit is required for any addition to your property or replacing the roof.
Proposed plans should be placed in the black box at the Clubhouse. Notify Debbie Tubertini at 601.607.3073 or via email debbie.tubertini@hotmail.com to indicate you have put something in the black box. Once the ARC has reviewed the plans you will receive a written notification.
